Priceless Obama quote
Edited on Sun Jul-27-08 12:11 AM by Ichingcarpenter
Time Magazine:
Was there anything that you saw on this trip that changed your mind? John McCain, as you know, is saying, "Well, he already knew what he was going to think before he got there."

Obama:
"Well, I thought John also suggested that I'm always changing my mind, so he's got to make up his mind about what he says about my mind."

3. well he's been in Congress 25 years and he's still figuring Social Security out
So you have to cut the poor guy some slack. Social Security and "Czechoslovakia" this week. Maybe he'll figure out that Sunnis and Shia have a history of violence next week, and then sometime in the future he can get around to the meaning of that quote.

John McCain is a humble hero. And he's the first person who will tell you that. Over and over and over.

Edited on Sun Jul-27-08 01:25 AM by sad_one
Why do you think that?

Keirsey has McCain pegged as an ESTP (as does slate)

17. that was funny
I like how Jon Stewart put that, something about why would the media cover a candidate giving a major speech to thousands at a historical site overseas, as opposed to an old man who almost was buried under an avalanche of applesauce while giving a speech in front of two people. lol

23. You aren't allowed to say that was funny. The media has
told us and told us, Obama has no sense of humor. Saying he is funny or witty or any such word I think is illegal now.
Or was that last week and now he is just presumptuous and arrogant?

10. GOOD. McCain could use a few good verbal smack downs right now
All he does is whine and nag. I swear McCain sounds more like an ex-spouse than a Presidential candidate and it's very annoying.

20. Exactly!! If McFLOP hadn't whined about Obama ...
Edited on Sun Jul-27-08 01:52 AM by rjx
and how he hasn't been to Iraq, then Obama might not have taken this world tour and have had it work out wonderfully. So while Obama was in Germany giving a speech to hundreds of thousands, McFLOP was at a German restaurant in the US. lol. Thats comedy.

If it wasn't for McFLOP's whining, Obama would never had received the gift from McFLOP when he endorsed Obama's 16 month timetable which was brought on by Obama's meetings in Iraq.

And do you ever notice how McFLOP whines and complains about Obama, while Obama pretty much ignores him? Obama's to smart and intelligent to stoop to that level.

27. Oh for the love of Pete.....I can't wait for the Debates.
I wonder if the Media will show it's disdain for Obama so the world can see what royal assholes they are.

And to see McCain - remember the cartoon character (was it Popoyee?) with smoke coming out of his ears, red in the face, and bulging veins....oh I can't wait. The Media won't be able to hide the fact that McCain is batshit crazy. Ooooooooooohhhh...
