Here in Kansas City, Missouri...

Bush: 100% negative. I have seen the ad attacking Kerry on intel spending and one attacking on taxes, I think.

Kerry: Basically positive. One ad says Bush never talks about health care, then tells about Kerry's solution. Ads are paid for by the DNC. Another ad takes a shot at outsourcing, saying Kerry would not reward companies moving jobs overseas.

Third-party ads: None.

My take: the central Midwest, including K.C. probably doesn't react as well to negative ads as most areas of the country. I can't explain why. I've noticed Kerry's poll numbers have improved in MN, WI, MO, and IA while falling in OH and WV. Maybe a connection?

Portland, Oregon. All Bush ads attack Kerry, positive Kerry ads by the DNC, a few negative ads against Bush via 527's.

After the convention, Kerry had just a slight lead here. Now, Zogby has Kerry up in Oregon by 53-42! Bush and Kerry visited Oregon at the same time, and it was an absolute disaster for the Republicans.

'negative ads against Bush via 527's' have you seen? I don't have broadcast tv, all I've seen are the other two kinds.
