California-Millions of California motorists are seeing political signs along the freeways posted by a single man who calls himself "The Freeway Blogger". The Freeway Blogger has placed more than 2000 signs throughout the state opposing the war in Iraq.

"Since before the war on terror started, I felt there was a voice missing in the public debate, and that voice was mine," said the Freeway Blogger. "I got tired of newspaper editors and talk show hosts deciding if my opinion would be heard. When you put a sign on the freeway you can say anything you want, and people will read it."

Messages posted by the Freeway Blogger include, "Osama Bin Forgotten"; "Quagmire Accomplished"; "Rumsfailed"; "Nobody Died when Clinton Lied"; and "Real Soldiers are Dying in their Hummers so You can Play Soldier in Yours."

The Associated Press distributed a picture of one of his signs in May 2004, sparking a wave of public response and driving tens of thousands of people to the Freeway Blogger website, at http://www.freewayblogger.com.
