1. Wouldn't it be smarter?
To get involved BEFORE they steal it?

Why not organize buses of people to the polling places as pollwatchers to ensure they DON'T steal it?

Why not organize activists to insist on the EMPACS system as advocated at http://www.ballotintegrity.org BEFORE the election is stolen?

Why are we waiting until they DO steal it?

3. I honestly don't think it's possible to steal California
Kerry has such a huge lead in the polls, there, if Bush suddenly appeared to carry Cali there'd be the such a stink that it would make Florida 2000 look like a tea party. Such a result would simply not be acceptable, and the consequences of fraud in California are potentially disastrous for Republicans.

4. I agree with you, BUT...
...then again, we're talking about His Most Arrogant Bastardship here. Sheer unapologetic brazenness has been berry berry good to 'im.

Be ready for anything. And that means ANYthing.

11. Oh yeah
I'm not saying they won't try...they're THAT arrogant. Just saying that I don't think the public there would accept such a result. It would be way too far off the reality that everyone knows is true.

9. Only one poll has the race that close
The rest have Kerry ahead by double digits.

5. I thought the article said the SofS is requiring paper ballots
in the 11 counties. If that's correct maybe its not that bad????

8. There would have to be something "in the works"
for * to steal California. Meaning some kind of disaster where Swastikanegger would be able to elevate himself to "the great hero" ala Guiliani. Then the press could brainwash alot of people into believing that * was way ahead in the polls or at least far enough ahead as to be able to steal it. Kind of like the spin after the the gubernatorial debates, which Terminal, DID NOT WIN, and looked like an jerk, but it was spun 24/7 that he won and had made great gains in the polls afterwards. IMO that race was stolen by BBV.

I have been suspicious about the Arnie lovefest going on here and the praising that has been going on in the local press. They tell us how high his job approval ratings are. Crap even my mother was repeating the talking points about what a good job he is doing with the budget. Dad watches daytime TV news all day long, he is a total zombie, total mind control.

Anyhoo that is my buck fifty on the subject.

10. California won't be close enough to steal
to steal an election they need a state (like Florida was in 2000) that will be razor thin.

12. Remember Georgia and Max Cleland ?
1.) First state to use state wide touch screens

2.) double digit, last week turn around in both the Senate and Governor's races.

Audacity is their trademark.

13. I agree.
I think its far more likely that if there is a fix its in Ohio where it can be believable that he won. If * "carries" California, can you imagine the mass rioting that such a thing will cause? It would be a disaster. People in CA aren't stupid. Do you guys think everyone in CA is just going to say "oh well, he won" and just go one about life? The idea that * can carry CA is almost as ridiculous as the idea that they can carry NY. Even Republicans wouldn't believe it. I think where we need to worry most is Ohio and Fla and other states where the race is close. Those are the states that can be stolen because they are close enough that people can actually believe he won.
