The discussion of the Moonies report on the dog, VC, was very funny this morning. Since the Kerry website doesn't have Navy records about this particular mine (or it's the one that was "next" to the boat, not "under" it, as if water isn't under boats), and since there's no mention of "any dog" in official Navy records at the site, they assume it couldn't have happened.
Nevermind that the website doesn't include every single mine, ambush, firefight, or mammal encountered.
Nevermind that "dog tags" weren't Navy IDs issued to DOGS for cryin' out loud.
Nevermind the Swiftliars' claims that the "boats were close together," rightwingers now contend they were too far apart for a dog to be catapulted by an explosion from one to another, even if it involved swimming.

I proposed that the next "whopper" will be "There were no dogs there!" ...because the Navy didn't issue dog food (or didn't call it that; whether it was fit for humans may be subject to taste).
Another one: "Kerry claimed to write journals and letters home, but there are no Navy reports of pencils on his website!"
Others?
