Tthe poor bastard! I wonder what the other 6 look like! Must be a couple of real roach motels! Moral of the story: it pays to dump your disfigured wife and kids for a young, blond ATM!

“My husband’s favorite part about the house is probably the casual style of it,” remarks Cindy McCain. “The feel is very comfortable, and he enjoys that, because he’s not a formal person.”

Cindy McCain grew up in the formerly brick-and-shake house, which Neal Sheiner, of Sheiner Day & Associates, rebuilt in stucco and tile in the 1980s.

The train on the mantel in the living room was Cindy McCain’s gift to the senator after his 1986 Senate election.

A framed letter from George H. W. Bush—on the occasion of the christening of the USS John S. McCain—hangs near a picture of the ship in the entrance hall. Other photographs feature family, friends and colleagues, including the couple with President Bush and with Bill Clinton. The piano is from the Hassayampa Inn in Prescott, Arizona.

The fact that the house has been in the family is very important to me,” Cindy McCain remarks.

One of Sheiner’s additions was the Mexican-tiled patio off the master bedroom, a private space complete with a pergola, a spa and a built-in fireplace.

The initials “MC,” for “McCain,” were hand-carved into a mantelpiece made in Guadalajara for the master bedroom. The black-and-white cat was a gift to Senator McCain on his election to the Senate from Orson Swindle, a fellow P.O.W. in North Vietnam.

The spacious rear patio, which has a swimming pool and a covered area for barbecuing, is off a guesthouse with bedrooms, a dressing room and baths. “We use the outdoor area all the time,” Cindy McCain says. “Our kids use it, and we use it for family friends and official events.”

9. No
The only time there is green is during the monsoons, (right now). Acattle pond on the edge of my land overflowed and flooded my property. It looks like a jungle right now. Soon it will be dry again and the hay fever will be nasty.

15. Don't you wonder if the books were left out on purpose
and who in arizona would use a fireplace? maybe in the living room for dead of winter but the bedroom? kind of nuts for how hot it is...

and i wonder if all the pics were put out too, they just don't seem like the family friendly type of people.

William IV period burl veneer piano? Used as
a table to display family portraits?

More money than taste obviously. I bet
the piano doubles as a liquor cabinet.

Ugh.

25. Incredibly tacky.
Too cluttered, too colorful, too many different styles thrown together.

I bet they don't know ANYONE who can ACTUALLY play the piano. That's probably why it's a picture rest and general shitcatcher. I saw two pianos.

22. So this house has three fireplaces
In a state where it's rarely cold enough to justify lighting a fire.

Yeah.... what abject poverty they must be living in.

23. Green-eyed Monsters...

Unlike McCain, the house is beautiful, the patio is beautiful and yes, the lawn is beautiful.

And no, it is not unusual to have lush green lawns in desert communities. Check out Palm Springs and environs and Arizona communities...in the desert. Careful there...I have a home in the desert with lush green lawns and Hawaiian plants. Bougainvilleas draping the fence, many varieties of Hibiscus, etc., etc. The house is worth less than a half mil, in La Jolla it might be worth $1.5 million.

Nothing in McCain's portfolio, including his houses, will win the election for him.
