In The Event That It IS Hillary
I hope to god the moderators are out in force tomorrow. DU is going to turn freaptastic if this happens. There will be insane bashing of Obama AND Hillary. I'm curious what the official policy will be in any case.

There has been too much damage done to the campaign as it is. We don't need people flooding this message board with pro-nader/cynthia/mccain crap.

1. Why tomorrow?
Has it been determined that's when Obama will make the announcement?

2. Yep,
a real nightmare scenario.

I'll be drunk either way, I imagine: either killing the shock and disappointment or celebrating in mad relief. :)

If Senator Clinton is Obama's choice, she will enjoy my support, as
I support the ticket strongly in presidential elections, and fiercely in the days leading up to the election itself, all the while honoring the judgment of the nominee.

I pity the Puke who speaks against her.

3. You should be more worried about the kittycult panic
When it's not Hillary. Because it won't be.

And I predict that scene will be ugly, but very short-lived.

Real Democrats have already moved on, as they do in any campaign season.

7. Correct - After tomorrow those disruptors must go.
If, tomorrow, it is NOT Hillary - Any anti-Obama rhetoric on the part of her supporters can no longer constructive to the discussions here. The same thing goes the other way.

I pledge to support Obama no MATTER who the VP is (even if it's BLOOMBERG)

21. When was Feingold ever in the race?
Kinda wish he was, but I don't remember him ever actually stepping into this one. And Dennis got hit with 4 freaking DLC bastards opposing him in his home district. He didn't have a choice but to drop out when he did, unfortunately.

9. If It's Hillary, what's the big deal?
If it's Hillary, it's obviously a political move. Maybe a smart one.
I'm no great fan of hers, but Hillary as vice-president or McCain as president----that's a no-brainer.

10. Exactly
If the math and poli-sci they did led them to choose Hillary, and that is the best bet to stop Mc Cain - go for it!

11. Don't worry, it's not going to be Hillary.
It'll be another boring middle aged white guy who will cause a big collective yawn in the nation, except for the punditry and the political junkies like us.

12. I agree....
We should have an army of "Reserve" Moderators for particularly crazy days. If the O-Man announces tomorrow and it is Hill-Dawg, then this place is going to get rowdy and crazy fast!

19. If it IS Hilary,
I will accept that.

She isn't my first choice, but if that's who Obama picks, then I will get behind her too.

Simple as that.
