Puzzled about the panel on the Diane Rehm show today. So, McCone's

experience as a war hero, POW, etc are totally off limits (at least according to two of the three transparently McCone supporting pundits on the show), but it was obviously OK to smear Kerry - a decorated war hero - with lies throughout the campaign. They essentially said that Obama just cannot go there. I just do not get it at all, this obvious hypocritical double standard - I have to hand it to Diane, though, for trying to bring both sides to the table every day (by the way, my first ever successful radio show call in happened - I was the second caller in...)

7. I got my point in just before that - asked why Obama and co don't make it simple - just

summarize key points from the previous 8 years - gas prices, dead US servicefolks, stock market, 911 and anthrax - all on GOP watch. McCain will give 4 more years of failed Republican ideas. The comment from the panel, was that it was what the Obama people are trying to do but the right keep them off message with trivial stuff....I am not so sure about that, though - I think that the Obama people can make their message much simpler and more impactful. Anyway, it was fun getting through!
