7. He was actually great on this topic
I was dying in laughter. Chris Matthews did a great job milking it for all it's worth.

I think the context of him asking this question was to get the guest to talk about the issue more. He often does that to steer conversations.

2. .....

Now that McMc is routinely lampooned, the perception of him is shifting and the way is clear for him to be humiliated further at the Obama campaign's choosing. There's so much material to use!

I'm sure we'll see plenty of his "first serious international crisis since the cold war!" before election day. I wonder what level McColdWar stock will be at on Intrade after the Democratic convention wraps up.

3. I thought Tweety actually took the populist side in that exchange ...
I didn't get the impression that Tweety thought it was
excusable for Bomb Bomb NOT to know how many homes he
owns ...

4. I couldn't believe how hard he was trying to defend McCain, acting like the questioner asked
Edited on Fri Aug-22-08 07:47 PM by jenmito
how many homes he lives in, has a toothbrush and pajamas in, when the question clearly was, "How many houses do you and Cindy OWN?" I'm glad the guests hit back on that.

8. Second day in row with this ...
YESTERDAY ...

He did this bizarre, there is this thing in Pennsylvania politics where one guy THINKS he has another guy, but when he goes after him, the other guy comes back and hits him even harder ... Like McCain was setting up BO the whole time ...

He showed the "seven" and McCain's fairly lame Rezko ad, then turned to his two pundits, and kind of said, he got Obama good, didn't he ... One of the few times on his show someone didn't just follow his lead, and both were kind of like, "ah, no" ...

I'm glad the two guests disagreed with his attempt to spin it for McCain. :D

6. Did you miss him taking it to McCain a few seconds earlier?
He flips back and forth. That's what he does.
