One thing these assholes in "liberal" media need to stop doing is
equating Obama's and McTurd's economic status. I live in Chicago and owning a house worth 1 or 2 million an oligarch does not make. The only one I've heard put this in perspective was on NPR today. The journalist in Marketplace explained the difference between someone "affluent" as Mr Obama clearly is and someone in McCock's status. I can't remember the term he used for McDouche's class status but he did say somebody that wealthy would normally be offended if they compared them to somebody as "poor" (by comparison) as Obama.

These dickheads in the media keep parroting that this race is between two rich guys. As if the guy who made his first million a couple of years ago can honestly be compared to Mr McCountryclub. There is no comparison status-wise between these two and it's time these airheads realized it.

1. I just read an interview (Politico??) with John McCain's
brother who said that he and John grew up "at best" middle class.

So, if McCain's brother thinks that an admiral's salary makes a person at best "middle class," I think that shows how out of touch McCain's family is with the majority of Americans.

2. Apparently not owning your own castle in which you can shield yourself from the
unwashed masses while you whip your servants into submission makes one working class these days.

3. I was wondering where that was coming from
I've had that thrown at me twice on here in one day! no way are they even in the same stratosphere. People either have no grasp of what class KingCone is in, or they are buying what lamestream media says. Some moran on CNN said it again tonight and I was screaming at her. Seriously, do your fuc*ing homework! WHEN was 100 million the same as 4 million?

Who doesn't understand old money that keeps regenerating and that you CAN not spend in this lifetime? Prep schools, private jets, weekends in Switzerland, day jaunts in the jet to paris, and never ever having to ask "how much is it?" no matter what it is. I am not making this up from thin air- this is how they live.

obama is not anywhere near that category.

Oh and I saw Romney down at the Yacht Club the other day and he's another "one of us" -- they were scraping his crumbs off the table for him and he was cleaning his fingers with a warm towel. Just another one of the guys. And I've got some great land in Florida...

The point isn't that they are richer than rich -- the point is, they have no idea what 50k a year buys and NO desire to learn, even in order to govern a nation full of americans earning a middle class wage.

4. I don't know whether it's just plain ol' stupidity/gullibility or they do it
on purpose. Either way I'm so happy that I got rid of my cable TV. It kind of limits my exposure to the overall bullshit.

5. They are both rich
Only Obama seems to understand his position of great privilege. From your post I wonder if you get it.

6. No. Obama is not the same kind of rich as McCain
He wouldn't be rich at all if he hadn't sold a book. He and his wife are as working class as they come. I wonder if you get it.

7. correct. How can anyone think they are the same? too funny.
It is wholly inaccurate for people to even suggest they are the same and makes me wonder why the reporters aren't doing their homework. All they have to do is use the googles and in two seconds, they can find out the truth. Anything less than that is irresponsible reporting and to repeat it ad nauseam without checking the facts when they are presented to you is a CHOICE to remain uninformed.

I guess some people think if they repeat it enough, it will be true. That BS went out with **II after he stole the second election and most of America woke up.

BTW, I read somewhere on here that McCain is collecting 58,000 in disability and 28,000 in social security along with his senators pay. (if anyone has the link, I'd appreciate it). They make what, 6 million a year on top of the 100 million his wife has? Where's the honor and integrity in his choice to keep collecting from us, the tax payer, money for social security and disability that he does not need? Couldn't he donate it at the very least? How about donating it to the vets? Sure, he's entitled to it, but that's not the point. Character is what you do when no one is looking, etc.

I'd like a president who had the sort of character that inspired me and others to be more generous, better, more honest. I don't think that's asking or expecting too much. In fact, I think it's asking for presidential material. Otherwise, any cowboy from Crawtucky could steal an election and lead us into the nightmare that is today.
