Without Hillary in the mix, you guys are boring.
I'll remember the Dem Primary of '08 the rest of my life. My ass is still singed from some of those flames (and I've always been Obama). It brought out the absolute best flames and insults imaginable. It was so much fun.

I guess Hillary has to be the VP; it's for our own health.

1. Primary of 2008 was hell, pure and simple.

Two candidates who agree on 98% of the issues attacking eachother over gaffes and mistakes they made on the campaign trail while their passionate fanbases flame eachother out over the interwebs.

10. Couldn't agree more. I've aged 5 years in the last 5 months.
Never want to go through that again.

3. i guess biden is less damaging than hrc
i just don't understand this party
or the way they pick leaders of DNC
no wonder we lose

this country is NOT a liberal country
why doesn't everyone understand that we have to put up centrists to win national elections?

Now that the Iraq withdrawal is all set up, this economy will be about oil, jobs, the economy....

Biden is a long time Washington insider... how is he part of the change?

6. Um... the primaries weren't boring but it wasn't exactly fun.
Just because something is a rollercoaster, it doesn't mean that it's something that is enjoyable or good for America. I much prefer that an Obama administration not be full of drama like the way the Bush administration has been.

11. I don't think she HAS to be the VP, but I do think that
if she IS, it will go a long way toward wound-healing and reconciliation within the party, and perhaps even more poignantly, here on DU. The same rules about not being permitted to bash the nominee will be extended to the VP nominee, so the haters and troublemakers from BOTH sides of the primary will either be silent or leave.

Of course, I also think she'd be great for the country as a whole, because she's smart, determined, and nobody could ever accuse her of being spineless and expect it to stick. I think more American Democrats would be happy tomorrow to hear her name announced than any of the other potential VPs--notice I said "American Democrats", not "DU Democrats." I'm sure half of GD-P would implode from the sheer weight of the fury and loathing that they aren't allowed to express openly anymore. ;)

Just my thoughts. :hi:

12. It appears to be Biden, so it's a moot point.
Now I can go to sleep, I can't contain my excitement.

13. If it's HRC, the Admins will have to shut down GD: P. The place will literally melt into
globs of liquid pixels from the blast-furnace heat of the flames.
