To those disappointed by the loss of text-surprise
Edited on Fri Aug-22-08 11:03 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
Yes, they could have pushed the button on the text message this morning or afternoon.

They didn't because they did not want to interfere with today's evening news cycle, which they expected to be favorable to Obama.

Had anything the least bit unfavorable to Obama happened during the day they would have hit the button right away to wipe it off the news.

It is unfortunate that the surprise aspect was pushed beyond any realistic possibility of keeping something secret, but it was a tactical decision made to benefit the campaign. And that always has to be the bottom line.

4. AND they were brilliant- think about how many people today, were transfixed-
and how much of the media today- was focused on this very thing- McShame couldn't get a word in anywhere- it was impossible. The coverage was incredible- seriously- think about it. Sure it would have been fun to have had the text by now, but it's ok- the entire thing was brilliantly orchestrated. As has this campaign been from day 1.

Go BAMA.

10. 15 more minutes!!
For Obama.. try to use all your supportive energy to endure this very trying time... but try to give a little of yourself in support to Obama if it's not too much and pull it together or something gawd!

but think of what all of this supportive energy will bring to us all in return in Obama winning.
