IF it's Biden, the timing is perfect!
The frenzy over Biden's prior statements are all over the cable news networks, in the wee hours of late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

It's all so thin that what little fizz it has will now should be gone very soon, and eclipsed by the official statements, live speeches, and other real events of the Saturday.

If it's Biden then we've got a great team going into the convention and on through November.

Excellent timing, excellent choice.

4. With this and the convention, the campaign will begin to ratchet it up!
I'm loving it, never doubted that our addressing their negatives would come, it's just that they'll come in ways nobody will expect.

and we'll be right into the conventions, and quickly the debates. Ooh, the debates... :)

6. Not too sure how you would have things turn out...
....or if you're calling me a sycophant, but I'm not unaware of the problems with our economy or suffering of our people.

Whom would you prefer he have as his running mate, who also would help us win?

10. Maybe someone who hadn't busted his ass to get the country to where it is?
You expect people to get on board with that? Honestly?

12. Show me where I'm advocating Hillary?
Anywhere.

I'm just showing you where Biden voted with Phil Gramm to cause the credit crisis.

Kinda makes on wonder though, why Gramm got a pass about that back last June, don't ya think?

Is that what you really want to defend?

The subprime mortgage crisis?

13. Why are you on DU? You don't like Obama or Biden, or Gramm.
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 02:37 AM by babylonsister
I don't like Gramm FTR either. Please let us know what we're lacking. You are so negative that it wonders and worries me.

Bedtime for this bonzo. Sweet dreams to you.

16. I'm simply a progressive. Once upon a time- traditional Democratic values were important
Appparently, they're not in vogue anymore.

So what's a real Democrat of the party of FDR to do? Leave the country? Or watch his so called brethern one by one sell out all they once believed in?

Without a second thought.

17. You join the reality-based world, and work for the change you desire.
This is what we have; help or get out of the way.

18. You all can take it from here
I can't with any honesty look at the record and tell people that campaign stands for something it doesn't.

It's a lesser of two evils- lets hope we can win with that.

Good luck to you- I know you expected something different, too.

19. Actually, I didn't expect anything, so no disappointment from me.
I figured Obama would pick the best person who'd work the best for him, and there are no regrets here.
I've been an Obama supporter for a long time, since I knew Dennis wasn't getting far.

So onward, for all of us!

5. It is exactly because of the suffering...
...that an excellent choice is needed.

Now let's fight to change things.

11. Fight - with anyone willing.
Forward is the only direction we have available to us. There is a republican candidate who must be defeated if we don't want a VETO hanging over every good thing coming out of congress.

Let's beat these GOP cats.

One step at a time.
