Clark seems more suited for Defense...

And how about RFK Jr. as AG? We should keep Clinton in the Senate...

4. Clark can't be Defense yet

He has to be out of the military for ten years before he can do that.

Richardson would be great for Secretary of State.
Dodd for AG.
Hillary for Health & Human Services (although I have a feeling she'd rather stay in the Senate)
I'd maybe be okay with Hagel for Defense -- we need at least a couple of Repubs and he's a logical choice.

7. Clark cannot yet be SOD

because of the 10 year wait - anyone know when that ends?

2. Al Gore may be offered Energy and would be a logical choice,

but he's already said he's not interested in a cabinet post. I think he'll be an outside advisor, but he won't be an official part of the government.

He might even be willing to take that one as long as he'd have time to continue his work on global warming.
