1. I'd rather have Susan Rice as Secretary of State...

Clark seems more suited for Defense...

And how about RFK Jr. as AG? We should keep Clinton in the Senate...

4. Clark can't be Defense yet
He has to be out of the military for ten years before he can do that.

Richardson would be great for Secretary of State.
Dodd for AG.
Hillary for Health & Human Services (although I have a feeling she'd rather stay in the Senate)
I'd maybe be okay with Hagel for Defense -- we need at least a couple of Repubs and he's a logical choice.

7. Clark cannot yet be SOD
because of the 10 year wait - anyone know when that ends?

2. Al Gore may be offered Energy and would be a logical choice,
but he's already said he's not interested in a cabinet post. I think he'll be an outside advisor, but he won't be an official part of the government.

5. Now there's a good idea!
He might even be willing to take that one as long as he'd have time to continue his work on global warming.

6. climate change, poverty, energy - all international issues really.
and he has the background to deal with the rest of it, and would be a real asset to restoring world respect.
