So Palin's two biggest accomplishments in government appear to be raising taxes twice.
A mayor of Wasilla, she pushed through a sales tax increase to fund a recreation center, underfund as it turned out, leaving them a huge budget deficit.

Then, as governor, she put an excess profit tax on oil companies and used the money to redistribute oil company wealth, giving everyone in Alaska a $1200 check.

Now I, for one, would actually tend to agree with doing things like that. Maybe not exactly the same things, but using government for public works and wealth redistribution is certainly a reasonable thing to do. Republicans call me a socialist when I suggest doing it though.

I guess Sarah 'the Socialist' Palin gets away with it though.

I think we need to question Sarah about why we shouldn't put an excess profits tax all oil companies and give the money to all Americans, starting with the most needy. Why is it good for Alaska but not for the rest of us?

with a TWENTY MILLION DOLLAR Debt.

My friends. that's TEN MILLION DOLLARS per moose !!!!!
