O'Reilly Obama Interview = Pre-taped, not live

I know some people were wondering about that, but I was checking Faux a moment ago to see if there was any info about it, and they showed a few monitors with footage from the interview (which is being filmed right now, apparently) on them. It's a sit down format type of thing, Obama isn't dropping into the standard 'All-Spin Zone' set, as far as I can tell.

Unless there's something in the agreement/talks he had with the FOX bigwigs that ensures that he'll be able to prove it was edited.

...Roger Ailes is an arch Repub. If it's edited to make Obama look bad, it might finally give Murdoch an excuse to fire some of these people.

In that case, I don't think they'd do anything that would screw that up by doing some funky editing. That said, I wouldn't be shocked if part of the terms for Obama agreeing to appear was that they got a copy of the tape before he left the studio.

Obama is a very intelligent man, & I'm SURE he's WELL aware of Bill's... stance on things. There's no way in hell he'd just do the interview & then say "okay boys, I trust you to edit it! Peace out!"

but once i thought for a minute, all the comments on here are spot on in regards to Obama's camp. there's no way on earth that they are letting unfettered editing of the interview. will someone post it tonight, please? i fortunately don't have fox in mexico and won't see it any other way than on the interweb.
