Palin Not to Campaign Alone But to Stay with McCain.
Was on news this a.m. but haven't seen it here. Reason was because of the big crowds. Now I'm going to say something that needs to be brought up again.

From here on out everything is "perception, perception, perception". We may know why Obama is doing "small groups" but the morons of America don't. They are looking at the "Palin crowds" and believing that the "in thing" is to flock to Palin and that Obama can't get a crowd together anymore. Obama now has to do at least 2 big crowds a week.

It helps in another way. The media isn't covering his words because he's wandering around in front of the small crowd drifting in his speech. McCain is pounding the podium and whipping up the crowd. It helps Obama with a telepromter speech to be concise, hard hitting and spewing soundbites that the lazy media can get it's teeth into. He now has to be seen rallying the nation because that's how the people are seeing these McCain rallies. We have to liven this back up...fast. He has to get back to Pied Piper (sp.?)mode then "they will come".

1. Obama should question why Palin can never handle anything by herself.

3. That should be asked of McCain
as they said, he needs her to draw the crowds.

Case in point was yesterday when Obama supporters shouted down a McCain stopover in the Philly area.

2. It is the only way McCain can get people to come and see him
It should be referred to as the Palin/McCain ticket.

4. It would be good
to see Obama, as you suggest, putting on a couple few nice big rallies/speeches each week and have surrogates hit at Palin/McCain hard and sort of do a one-two punch to break through the MSM barrier; force some coverage, dominate some news cycles, put McPain on defense.

10. VAlberal--I want a battle of the crowds
They can't yell "star" thing anymore because this is what they are after--the CROWDS. So, give them a battle of the crowds. We will win that battle. They said the last rally of McC was 30,000. We have to start doing that and building and building until it's massive. They have decided to get into the "superstar" business so let's give them a tast of waht "superstar" is!!!!!!!!!!

5. I agree.. have said it more than once....
Dems have got to get on message and stay on message. CATAPULT the propaganda. Return every volley. They kill one of yours.. you kill two of theirs. (the Tony Saprano doctrine) Its the only thing Fundy Whackjob cult members understand. If the Dems loose this election.. we will have to leave the country because it will become an unbearable fascist state. (moreso than now).

6. Palin is McCain's ventriloquist dummy - like an episode of Twilight Zone
The dummy is getting all the attention and laughs and has plans to take over eventually.

13. When she went to Fairbanks
I didn't see any sign of a large crowd. TV cameras kept on her tight the entire time - close shots of the front of the "crowd."

Someone correct me if I'm wrong - that's just what I saw on TV.

14. Palin is the porkchop tied to McCain's neck so the dog will play with him
Yesterday I posted a poll about how big McCain's crowds will be when Palin goes off on her own. It only took one day for him to see that nobody is coming out to see him. Can't imagine how his giant ego is handling this but obviously he's willing to do anything to get elected.

16. but this strategy does limit their campaign.
if she has to be by his side every day they limit the number of location/stops/ground they can cover. Obama can be in PA and have Biden in CO. they can be in two battleground states at once and the Mccain/palin ticket can't. More oportunity for us to get the message out.

17. Exactly
Let them campaign together. We can hit twice as many locations. Unlike Palin, Biden is able to do things that a candidate for the second highest office in the land should be able to do. You know, like answer questions and campaign on their own.

21. They can't have Palin brining in bigger crowds than McCain, which would happen if she went solo...
They're keeping them togeterh so that she doesn't overshadow McCain, to bolster McCain's crowds and because they don't trust her to go solo (at least not yet).
