It's the Taxes...
Most of the people I've spoken have only one thing in mind: Obama will raise taxes.

And I live in PA -

I've emailed the WSJ and Washington Post articles but no can do. Any other suggestion?

1. FactCheck.org
You could point them toward FactCheck.org, especially since the McCain campaign has been referencing that site in their ad (even though they're misquoting it). Although, if the first two articles haven't convinced them, most likely they just don't want to be convinced.

the 2nd one is kinda iffy.

Thanks folks.

Where to these young people get the idea about Obama and taxes? Really?

I'm baffled.

3. Bingo! I heard the same thing from my daughter, yesterday.

And my sister, they both said it on the same day.

"Obama will raise taxes." Just the opposite is true for most Americans. Where is this coming from? Everyone does better under progressive administrations, the middle class, the stock market, even the top 1%. The problem is that the top 1% and the corporations get greedy and try to make a killing under GOP administrations. They start eating away at the seed corn, so to speak.

Most taxes go down and the economy becomes more prosperous under the Democrats.

5. I'm going to bump this -
because TAXES is AS BASIC AS IT GETS, FOLKS!

Even if you addressed it and hammered it and sky wrote it and tattooed it on every person's forehead, they still wouldn't get it.

The Democrats HAVE TO DRIVE the POINT HOME!
