What if?
What if Obama had picked Hillary instead of Joe?

Would McSame have picked Mrs Palin as his VP?

Would she be be able to command the same attension in the news with Hillary at her heels?

Makes you wonder?

( BTW .. I am not advocating anything...... Just thinking out load.

4. I think you are right.
I'm thinking that as much as I like Joe and think he is a better choice as VP maybe Obama made a mistake?

I hope I am wrong.

If Hillary was on the ticket, they would not have gone with Palin, or any woman.

Instead they would be trying to undermine Obama in many other ways. They would be taking aim at Hillary, digging up dirt on Bill and perpetuating memes like "having a Clinton in the Whitehouse isn't change, its more of the same poltics we've had with a Clinton, or Bush in the White House for 30 years". They would be showcasing all of the long, drawn out Primary race arguments between Obama and Hillary surrogates and they would be saying that having a woman as the #2 on the ticket is having her in a "subservient" position.

They may have gone with Jindal, which would have been pretty similar to what we have now. I didn't think he would have before, but after the Palin pick, now I think he would have done just that. Jindal is just as much of a religious nut and would have energized the evangelicals in the same way. They take on Obama with another minority and get pretty much the same results.

Except Jindal is actually a governer of a lower 48 state with a lot more mainstream experience and would be harder to discredit as unprepared.

Its a pointless thought experiment.
