Is It Just Me or Does The Tide Feel Like Its Turning Today?
Lets see, we have Palin bombing her first softball interview, McCain appearing rattled on The View, Obama fighting back with 3 hard-hitting ads, two 527 ads against McCain-Palin also hitting the airwaves and finally the MSM is beginning to stand up and call McCain out on some of his lies. Yup I definitely feel the tides a changing!

Gobama!

8. For starters
Obamas back on the offensive, the MSM is finally doing their job and people are starting to see that Palin is in over her head.

For starters.

Right now the numbers are still weak. I want to see the polls start swinging back in the Dem's favor before I saw there has been a turn.

7. The Palin novelty might finally
be wearing off. It was cute in the beginning -- "Aww, look! A hockey mom is going to be VP!" and now it's finally turning into "Oh shit! A hockey mom is going to be VP!"

12. It's just you. We get a "tide is turning" post pretty much every day.
I see absolutely no change on the major issues.

  • voter disenfranchisement and caging
  • vote rigging eg. Black Box voting
  • media

16. McSame's ahead in the polls; MSM will now play to Obama
If Obama regains the lead, the MSM wil turn again. Their goal is to keep interest high;the way to do that is keep the race close and the scandals coming.

didn't hear a thing about Biden going home to DE.

18. DU will never let the tide turn.
There are posts all over the forum about what a sorry campaign Obama is running.

I watched him on Letterman...truly amazed. He was so classy.

I come here and saw criticism.

I am sick of it. We will rip our own apart.

19. Dont forget last night's Presidential Forum
where Obama hit it right out of the park! Meanwhile McLame was scowling at questions that asked how he felt about his VP pick trashing community service and community organizers (the forum was sponsored by Poppy's "Points of Light" community organization)!

And then he goes on to blame the sour campaign tone on Obama not agreeing to do town halls with him!

21. Too early to tell
There's been more balance the past few days than usual, but I still think they'd like to play up the Palin novelty as much as they can without being ridiculously overt.

On the other hand, maybe the corporate masters see the writing on the wall and realize that 1) it might be better for them if the U.S. economy wasn't sent into a flat-out depression; and/or 2) if one of these Repub nutjobs gets us into war with Russia, they might not get to enjoy the spoils of their corporate piracy.

25. Can't tell from here. . . .
They apparently aren't running any ads here. I live in SF, and it's probably the bluest city in the country. I suppose Obama knows he's got it in the bag here, so they don't have to waste $$ on ads. . . So it's hard to get a feel about what's going on elsewhere.

27. And...
AND McCain's gaffe last night. You can bet that we'll be hearing more about it. :)

Listen, mayors have the toughest job, I think, in America. It's easy for me to go to Washington and, frankly, be somewhat divorced from the day-to-day challenges people have.

33. I know, I know, it's silly, but Jupiter turned Direct on 9/8/08 - the planet
of expansion; Pluto turned Direct on 9/9/08 - The most secretive planet is creeping out of its underworld lair to bring issues of power and desire into public view. Dramatic events are unlikely to emerge immediately, but those needs and fears that have been hiding in the shadows will soon be out in the open so they can become agents of personal and collective transformation.

The planets are talking to us and the Universe really does seem to be on our side.

There is a major conjunction with Uranus on election day - Uranus brings with it a new way of looking at things, and its approach is best met with an expanded consciousness. Originality, inventions, computers, cutting-edge technologies and future events are all ruled by this Planet. Uranus sees no need for the status quo, preferring instead to break with tradition and create a new mold. - and people will literally not make up their minds till they hit the booth.

The above seems to go in Obama's favor, but as the saying goes, "the star foretell, not compel' and real work needs to be done to make sure it happens. It the collective that will see that forward thinking will win this election. As that work is done, people will see this election as one of the best things to ever happen to the upcoming generations. This is what the Shadow Side is trying to suppress - the idea that we can actually work together as adults again.

Also, after the election, the picking out of the cabinet and the inauguration favor Obama too (being able to relax to in order about who to pick) and 1/21/09 is seen as a happy time.

Obama really will be a generational president - Pluto in Capricorn - When Pluto transits a sign it leaves a swathe of destruction, but what is destroyed has often outlived its relevance. Big business elites will not survive the Pluto transit, but will in turn be transformed. The invasive hand of government will not be allowed to stifle individuals, or to reduce those who do not have the privilege of power to slaves in the hierarchy.

It is at this time that the Saturn/Jupiter cycle enters air signs for a period of 200 years, and the scourge of materialism will be replaced by lofty social values. The harnessing of light will transform industry, and the burning of fossil fuels will be a quaint and nostalgic tradition. Pluto in Aquarius will transform the power of thought. Keyboards will cease to exist, implanted probably, and screens will be everywhere in a festival of light. The dictatorship of the corporation will give way to the dictatorship of group consciousness; you will be free to do anything, just as long as you don’t try to give up your membership.

Think of it as the time that humanity enters adulthood.

Millionaire's do not use astrology, but billionaire's do.
