Should there be a print ad campaign denouncing the e-mails still going around?
Edited on Sun Sep-14-08 09:36 PM by hedgehog
I'm thinking full page ads in 20 or 50 or 100 major newspapers denouncing the more common slanders line by line. My daughter's mother-in-law was telling her some of the info she'd gotten from e-mails, and she believes that this stuff is true. What I'm thinking is that the ads may have a primary effect and a secondary effect when major news outlets grab the story and repeat the the e-mails are false.

I was also going to suggest that maybe McCain should denounce these slurs, but then I already know what he'd say" If only Senator Obama had agreed to go to Town Hall meetings with me, these e-mails wouldn't be circulating!"
