1. Good. Now let's start
talking about the economy and McSame's culpability for the mess we're currently in.

17. Oooooh I like it!
Can't you just hear the voiceover? "John McCain's economic policy = a bridge to nowhere."

2. Palin is like the pretty girl or handsome man you go out on a date with
and discover there is nothing to them, other than their looks.

3. Yes, as one talented guy on his guitar quips, "Sarh Palin is qualified ... to go out with me."
*note: if you get past his hair-do, this guy's pretty darn good for everything but one's eyes.

"Sarah Palin - deeply skeptical of her selection as McCain's running mate. With Palin's non-existent experience outside of Alaska, I - like many of you - assumed she was just a controversial diversion intended to blunt the success of Barack Obama's own convention keynote. However, after watching her read the spirited words of Bush aides almost like they were her own, I can say humbly that I was wrong.

This woman is qualified to do something after all: Go out with me."

5. She thinks she's running for Mrs. America ; )
Based on what I've read of her personality, she probably wouldn't even get elected Miss Congeniality.

18. Sarah:"You better vote for me for Miss Personality cuz I know where your familiy lives! Yup! Yup!
She was allegedly voted Miss Congeniality in her Miss Alaska Contest. Knowing her rep for viciousness in high school and on the basketball court, one can only imagine she campaigned very aggressively for the Miss Congeniality banner.

8. Palin is crashing in the polls
This guy is looking at what everybody already sees and trying to position himself as the guy who predicted it. It's a usual Wall Street parlor trick.

Palin is a fad, and not even a particularly sustainable one.

14. Yeah, exactly. If Palin had still been riding her wave of fame...
He'd be writing about how she's going to ride it right to the white house. It's easy to predict something after it's already started happening.

9. Let me bring up what is wrong with the concept ...
The media lives to "build you up, then knock you down."

The first half of this statement is correct to a T. They built this twit up 1000 times bigger than she should have been.

The second half is apologetic, because it implies that she is somehow undeserving, or will be treated unfairly. FACT IS, the media is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER going to go to the true depths it would take to accurately paint this incompetent as the worst VP pick in modern, if not all time. She is THAT bad, on so many levels. You STILL hear FAR too much of this - "they are picking on her" nonsense.

She is THAT BAD, and MORE.

12. For you "Simpsons" fans out there, remember the episode
where Bart became the "I didn't do it!" boy?

BART GETS FAMOUS (1994)

"After escaping from a dull field trip to a box factory, Bart escapes to the Channel 6 television studio. When he overhears Krusty the Clown belittling an assistant for not bringing him a danish, he brings one from Kent Brockman. Krusty is impressed and makes Bart his personal assistant. At first Bart thinks the work will be as glamorous as it looks on TV, but he soon finds the opposite to be true. One day when Sideshow Mel cannot perform, Bart takes his place. He is only supposed to say "I am waiting for a bus," but he knocks into a prop which sets off a chain of disaster, wrecking the set and the sketch. Bart's impromptu response, "I didn't do it," gets a huge laugh. When Krusty notices how popular Bart becomes, he makes him a regular player. The I Didn't Do It Boy becomes an overnight sensation, but Bart soon tires of the pressure and repetition, and the public soon tires of his schtick."

Sarah Palin...the "Thanks But No Thanks" Girl!!

23. Sarah Paliar. She lobbied for it, she got the money, she spent the money.
She was fine with it until national media exposed it.

She is such a Paliar!

19. "intellectual, big-city bullies" - what, do you mean SMART?
From the article:

"The television networks appear to be treating Palin carefully, trying hard not to seem sexist or liberal or come across as intellectual, big-city bullies."

WTF are "intellectual, big-city bullies"? Mentally sophisticated? Thinking? Well-read? Fucking KNOWLEDGEABLE???

Oh my dear God, how did "intellectual" ever become a bad word, and "dumbass" a positive quality? Didn't people like her used to be called "rubes" and be embarrassed about their parochialism? :banghead:

More poor judgment from John McCain.
