McCain political ad script leaked that shows final strategy
Apparently, the McCain camp left a political ad script at a Starbuck's in Wala Wala, Michigan that shows just how negative they are going to go in the final weeks.

Video: Similar "morning in America" beauty shot that shows white people everywhere in slow motion with shots of the Rockies and diners and a woman on a porch holding a baby. Music is very Aaron Copelandish soothing strings...

VO: John McCain... is... white. White as the driven snow on the Rockies. White as the sugar in your coffee. White as the silk dress your momma wore when you were a tender young child.

Fade to black.

Video: Sirens, boom box rap music, graffiti, screams, people running with the video of just a sidewalk with trash rolling by and a pool of blood slowly filling the screen...

VO: Barack Obama is black. Black as the dark, scary night. Black as the Devil's soul. Black as the man who might break into your house in the middle of the night and take away your lovely daughter.

Video: Barack Obama photo slowly fades in from sidewalk scene... with sounds of eery screams and chains being dragged across a floor...

VO: Black as... Barack Obama.

Fade to white.

Video: John McCain standing around with white children with angel wings in soft focus and children's choir singing some hymn.

VO: I'm John McCain and I approve of this message.

:sarcasm:

PS: They do ads just like this now, only a tad more subtle.

2. I'm thinking that's actually a bit TOO subtle.
They'll probably throw in a doctored photo of Obama, holding a bucket of chicken, giving a woman an abortion, while waiting in line for a welfare check. Perhaps NWA playing in the background?

I wouldn't put it past those f*ckwads.

3. "Music is very Aaron Copelandish soothing strings..."
For some reason, I would think Mr. Copland, composer of "Fanfare for the Common Man," "Appalachia Spring," "Bill the Kid," "Rodeo," "Lincoln Portrait," and other Americana-based works, would object to the use of his music by the McCain Campaign. His music tends to uplift the American spirit, not tear it down with neo-con fascist beliefs.

But I agree, the scenario you described would be effective...

4. Pfffft... like the McCain campaign cares.
They've already proven they don't give a crap what the artists of the songs they use think about them. Look at Heart.

5. Garageband (Mac music app) has some Copeland-like samples
Get the Orchestra Pack and you too can sound "like" Copeland. I was thinking a little Appalachian Spring with a touch of Fanfare...

Good choices!

Or how about the opening of "Billy the Kid?" Reminiscent of the great plains: barren, windswept, and silent. Now that'll get Americans thinking! And just think of the irony: "Billy the Kid" and John McCain: We'll be robbed again but this time to good music!

8. Wait, are the facts in this ad true?
Yes, Senator. You are in fact white, while Senator Obama is black.

I'm John McCain, and I approved this message.
