These guys aren't smart enough to plan this, and besides, why would they want to help McCain? He's not one of them, despite his current lies to that effect. No, they want the Dems to fix things up, so they can come back in eight years like locusts and strip the land clean once again.

A lack of conscience isn't the same thing as intelligence. It is easy to get what you want in the short run if you have no scruples, and that's how these guys are.
