Prediction: The VP Debate Will Go On Once Some Topic Palin Knows About Suddenly Emerges

This is the inverse of the Friday foreign policy debate, which McCain is trying to avoid, because it will deal with the international finance, rather than the military. I predict that if the VP debate goes forward, it will be because the McCain campaign has generated a specific crisis or issue that the VP debate can focus on, which Palin will at least be competent in.

For example, some obscure report on public school education will suddenly make the rounds, and Palin will then try to stear every answer to public education. Or, Fox News will strangely starts re-hashing old stories about oil prices, then Palin will just talk about the need to drill here, drill now.

If this happens, you know why the VP debate is going forward. If no such story emerges, then there will be no VP debate.
