How About A Joint Press Conference?
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 07:48 PM by kpete
Call the Old Man's Bluff...

If McCain can't seem to make it to Mississippi - because of this "emergency",

the Obama Campaign could suggest a joint press conference in D.C. or Sedona for that matter.

Let the press have at it.

I think a few of them could raise some revealing questions.

I also think Obama's calm demeanor would really make the old man sweat.

peace, kp

4. Nope. I like meet me in MS; it's a 2 hour flight. Otherwise, give a town hall.

5. No, but Obama should hold a presser Friday morning in DC.
He should say bluntly that McCain and Boner submarined the meeting Thursday, busted the tentative agreement, and proposed something designed to help more GOP fat cats. Then he should announce that he's going to Mississippi, and we'll see if John McCain shows up, or stays in Washington to cause more problems.

The markets will be diving tomorrow morning, and all day, media will properly blame McCain and try to get him to explain how he ruined a deal with his intrusions, and his refusal to debate.

Where will McCain hide Friday? He won't be able to.
