McCain said he will personally get Bin Laden, but said Obama was a maniac for thinking about crossing the Pakistan border.

US troops exchanged fire with Pakistani troops today.

Will that be Obama's fault?

I'm guessing yes.

1. Hell no.
Pakistan has been a problem, a rogue problem for us and a co-conspirator and sanctuary for bin Laden. Obama was dealing with reality. McCain was living in a some kind of fantasy world regarding Pakistan.

3. I believe that Sen. Obama has not advocated doing nothing more
than pressuring the Pakistan Government in acting in concert IF there was ACTIONNABLE intelligence that Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were reportedly somewhere known...and that if Pakistan did not COOPERATE, then the United States should still act on such target.

I don't believe that this is what US Command has attempted. See, the part about getting Pakistan to cooperate first can't just be cut out of the strategy, or else it becomes something else again.
