Would Palin be worse than Admiral Stockdale?
I mean at least he had an excuse--he turned down his hearing aide, and obviously he led a distinguished career, but anybody who remembers that debate will recall his famous, "Who am I? and what am I doing here?"

3. He wasn't asking himself those questions, he was saying' this is what people want to know'
But then, you probably already know that, because you are, well, here.

10. James Stockdale was a brave and brilliant man of principle and honour.
Sarah Palin is by no stretch of the imagination comparable to James Stockdale.
