OK - someone has to please talk me down NOW!!
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 10:26 PM by gabby garcia
If these assholes somehow steal this election - I can't even bear to think about these fucking pricks in the Whitehouse making decisions for me and my kids, they have reduced me to an incoherency almost matched by Sarah-can't-structure-a-cohesive-sentence-Palin, and saying things I never imagined I could or would EVER say like "I swear I will pack up and leave this country if they get in!"

At today’s cabinet meeting, John McCain did not attack any proposal or endorse any plan. John McCain simply urged that for any proposal to enjoy the confidence of the American people, stressing that all sides would have to cooperate and build a bipartisan consensus for a solution that protects taxpayers.

However, the Democrats allowed Senator Obama to run their side of the meeting. That did not work as the meeting quickly devolved into a contentious shouting match that did not seek to craft a bipartisan solution.

..Tomorrow, John McCain will return to Capitol Hill where he will work with all sides to build a bipartisan solution that protects taxpayers and keeps Americans in their homes.

3. This must be spin or talking points you've picked up somewhere. I've listened to most of the
newscasts tonight and haven't heard ANYTHING as blatantly, laughingly false as this.

Not to worry. Didn't happen. No one really believes it did. Cept Fox news maybe.

10. They aren't going to steal it this time, gabby.
We are too many and too monolithic. Condi Rice and her lawyer admitted to plotting torture in the Oval Office today in writing. That is the big story that all this financial smokescreen is set up to overwhelm right now. The financial meltdown is not a surprise, everyone knew it was coming from Main Street to the rural routes. Wall St. will survive. Who puts themselves out of business when they are making out like bandits? They will not win. The financial people will bail themselves out and when we get a new administration, we will regulate them for a bigger cut by taxing them and removing the outrageous corporate subsidies that they don't need. We are going to have to start over, but we won't be starting over with crooks, liars, and torturers. I don't know if that helps, but they won't steal it this time. We have already won and no one can take it away.

14. sorry - I just added the link
I know it's fucking bullshit manufactured spin but it just has gotten to me today. I was thinking about how deeply thankful I am to Obama for everything - for every moment he doesn't spend with his girls and Michelle, everything he is giving up to deal with these asswits who care nothing for our country's future but only for their own political gain... and basically I just lost it!

15. Jon Stewart was just talking about a candidate calling a timeout
and turning a back on talking about the crisis in this election on what "you would do" if your elected. So what McSame is doing is not making good sense in an election and as was said this is unprecedented in elections.

16. The NY Times account seems to say that neither Obama or Grampy
spoke. So this contradicts Grampy's fabricated story that Obama took charge of the meeting for the Democrats.
