You know you are obsessing about the election too much when...
when ...you have a dream about biden vs palin.

(i wasnt even in it)

Biden was talking about how he couldn't afford some type of life threatening surgery and that his congressional health care package wouldn't cover it. He joked about it, and said that he's lucky to have friends who could help cover the costs but that most americans don't have friends with $60,000 to throw around.

Palin jumped in saying she doesn't have friends like that either.

Biden quipped that she oughta look around her because her campaign was full of very wealthy people.

Palin responded that those were colleagues, not friends.

(the audience laughed)

Biden quickly responded that Mccain doesn't know how many houses he has and would probably help keep you alive if he could.

1. Oddly enough, I have dreams where Obama does very un-Obama things...
...like storm out of interviews and yell at Michelle publicly.

Maybe I'm so pleased with the smooth performance of Obama's campaign, I'm subconsciously waiting for the other shoe to drop...

3. I had a dream last night!
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 05:02 AM by Lancer
I work at home, but last night in a dream I had a regular office job. I had been laid off, so I was packing up to leave on a Friday afternoon. (Barack and Joe were visiting he company, but I thought they'd be downstairs in a conference room.) The boss came in to my cublicle not to say goodbye, but "whoa, not so fast..." and accuse me of stealing from the company!! Stealing CDs, desk supplies, the whole bit. I was protesting my innocence and crying a bit. This boss had NEVER liked me. Some co-workers were tentatively coming to my defense.

Around the corner come Joe and Barack, making the rounds of the cubicles. "What's this?," Biden asks the boss, who starts spluttering. Biden says, "Ladies and gentleman, I think this young lady's being framed!" Barack to me: "Are you being laid off? Do you have another job?" I'm sniveling "yes," then "no." Then Biden says, "Ladies and gentleman, how is she going to pay her medical bills?" Barack (to me) "do you have a car?" Me: :sniff: "yes." Barack to crowd: "Unemployment won't last forever. How's she gonna pay $4.60 in gas to get around to look for another job?" Joe: "this young lady (I'm not young) is a living example of the kind of people our plan for America...(then I woke up.)

I'm not kidding. I sometimes have very vivid dreams.

4. OK, here's a good one I had a while ago.
I dreamed I was walking down the hall of a house I spent a large part of my childhood in, in which I shared a bedroom with my younger sister. I dreamed we were sharing a bedroom again, and that she was a child again (although I can't remember whether I was). I was walking down toward what had been our mother's bedroom at that time, but which we were now sharing--I knew she was already in there and that it was bedtime.

As I walked past the doorway of the old bedroom she and I used to share, whose door was open, I saw Barack and Michelle in a single bed, preparing to go to sleep.

I walked down to what had been my mother's bedroom, where my sister was, tiptoed over to her and whispered in her ear: "Did you know that THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is sleeping next door in the bedroom that used to be ours?"

That's all I remember.
