6. Pat's correct....Palin's the only reason McCain has any support from his base
I'm not sure what's inaccurate about Pat's statement.

If McCain cuts Palin loose he's done...period.

If he keeps her, he still has a chance provided that Obama makes a major gaffe in the next few weeks.
