3. Oh, I think it is looking like it will be a landslide... although not in the respect Zogby thinks.

I don't think I'd liken McCain to a comfortable old shoe either... I think he is closer to a rancid, stained, unraveling pair of underwear.

19. Given the last week in particular
if candidates were shoes (something I never thought I would ever think of), McCain/Palin is definitely an old one, but also a very strange, uncomfortable one that is often "erratic" - I'm thinking one of those high platform shoes, briefly popularized by the spice girls. (I have daughters in the right age range.)

What Obama will do in the debates is to make himself seem "more comfortable" to the American public, while remaining a classy, sensible pair of shoes.

12. Zogby is in la la land
That's why he is doing his best with polling to sway undecided voters to the comfortable old shoe.

15.  Back when he was a community college instructor, he would bump grades
for students in his European history class if you came in and worked a shift off the clock at his polling place. What does calling people while their eating their dinner and asking them who they are going to vote for have to do with European history? Beats me. This was back during the 1992 Presidential elections and before his polling business really took off.

I wrote about it in more detail along with the description what happened when we changed our minds about working for him:

http://bentcorner.com/2008/01/john-zogby-is-the-reason-i-do-not-trust-polls/

Needless to say, I don't trust polls, especially Zogby polls.

I'll eat my hat if this election is a landslide.

I actually don't have a hat so I don't have to worry about following through with that statement.

20. Y'know I actually think he's right
BUT he really should be talking about MCSAME being the one losing by a landslide NOT Obama!!! IMHO to win McSame would need a massive scandal DIRECTLY involving Obama/Biden, Palin would need to "grow a pair" and make like an Einstein, and McSame would need to become totally coherent and involved in what's going on in the world around. Not.going.to.happen

21. Zogby must have first-hand knowledge of the theft plans.
This is the most idiotic statement that these analyst/pollsters can make, "They still don't know enough about Obama, and blah blah blah..." So the electorate is fully aware that McCain is one degree below retarded, and yet we are going to elect him because he's "familiar". I believe the phrase was "Like an old shoe", or some shit. Well, I don't know McCain, but from what I can tell, he probably smells like an old shoe, and is a dangerous threat to our future as a nation. Does that make me the only single, free-thinking person in this country? Nice try Zogby, you RW propagandist whore.
