and George W. Bush, in the midst of the crisis, found time to go there and hug John ...

2. it really does seem like this would be a devastating ad
It would demonstrate perfectly what a drama queen McCain is being right now--and, of course, how uncaring he was during Katrina. Both aspects of the point you're making would be hugely damaging.

An ad like this very well might go down in history as The End of his campaign if it's done right and given lots of air time.

I haven't seen more than two or three campaign ads since the primaries, so maybe there's already an ad like this out there, but if not... DAMN. Why not?

6. And time to eat cake. But the difference is that Katrina affected only POOR people.
The financial crisis threatens RICH people too, hence it is a real crisis.
