masterminding the theatrics in D.C. yesterday... Obama's schedule prior was to prep for tonight. The only justice for this disruption is that Mccain will have had little or no prep, himself. Though the "maverick" probably intended to wing it, anyway.

I think Obama will do just fine.

McCain cutting in to a few hours isnt going to hurt Obama at all.

3. Wondered about that

Yea, I wondered if that was part of McCain's intent. But I read an article this morning (on CNN, I think) about how Obama's been prepping at night doing even full rehearsals, which it said he hadn't done before. And with the wrench of the economy getting tossed in the mix, I think he'll be as up to par as McCain.

4. Watching Obama all these months and how he operates

I'd bet money he's been prepping all week, wouldn't wait till the last minute for this one.

5. I've played tennis for years and this stunt of McWorthless

reminds me of this situation. When a tennis player is in the zone, and his opponent keeps taking obviously silly breaks to throw the other off. What often happens is that the "potty break" intended to throw the winning player off stride ends up backfiring and the player who's pulled the stunt and ends up losing his/her concentration. Some players seem to thrive on this style, ie: John McEnroe, Ilie Nastase, the William's sisters, but even so, it only works sometimes, and not only that, I've seen it backfire on them when they're playing a worthy opponent.

Tennis metaphors work for me. :)
