7. lol lol. no but i live in religious belt, so i know. had college educated friend, who was going

back for her masters at the university museum. her child and my two children looking at this massive dinosaur and earth history display all around the walls.

i open arms to encumbrance all and say.... and you say earth is just shy of 7000 yrs old. she start spouting, ya....

i laugh and walk out.

10. Biting my tongue has NEVER been easy for me but I've had to learn...

"Never teach a pig to sing. It annoys the pig and wastes your time". Unless there are others I may be able to persuade, for a truly lost cause it's normally not worth expending the energy which for me is precious... I'll save that for those I think there's any hope for. :)

OTOH I must admit I'm tempted to carry around a cheap tube of lipstick and make a snarky comment like, "Would you like to put some lipstick on that pig you're trying to sell?" Or "Here's some lipstick, you might want to send it to that old boar you're backing... he looks terrible and could use a bit more makeup for his $5k." ;) Mind you I probably won't since I'm trying to convince folks calmly with facts and keep my temper... but damn it's so difficult and tempting at times.
