Maverick Republicans vs. Bush and Dems

I just came in from shopping and heard Dennis on CNBC say that. He said something like, "Which plan should we go with? The Maverick Republicans who don't want to spend taxpayer dollars, or the Bush White House and the Dems who want to spend away?" Not his exact words but damn close.

I just hate these guys and this morning they were criticizing Reid for being partisan.

1. This is typical of them.

Simplify to slogans, right/wrong, good/bad, win the war/cut and run.

Obama, dems, Bush, bad plan that the public hates = Obama going up in polls.

McCain and Maverick republicans, on the side of the people = McCain poll numbers going down.

Has the public finally figured out that it's about intelligence, trust, temperment and judgement.

2. They're framing the debate.

The Dems must distance themselves from Bush. Instead their own leaders put us on his side. I'm so fucking mad at Franks and Pelosi, I could scream.

3. PLEASE. They aren't "mavericks". They're most Conservative, Corporate-friendly Republicans
