31. That's my preference.
I love Rachel and Keith but sometimes they talk too much. I might watch PBS. I wonder which commentators the various networks have lined up. There are some I like to hear and some I love to laugh at. That's when the drinking game really starts!

Peggy Noonan -- double chug
George Will -- double chug
Jeff Greenfield -- I like him, so it's a polite sip
Uncle Pat -- puke
Miss Lindsay -- puke
Rep. Frank -- polite sip
Boxer -- polite sip

etc.

11. ABC
I use an antenna and it's the only channel I can depend on to come in. The others a chancy.

I'll be taping it as I have to work. I'll bet the local reich-wing radio station will carry it live, so I might have that going for me.

15. PBS for us...
Jim Lehrer and gang is the best commentator in my book!

I'm hoping he'll have Michael Beschloss on as well...

Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he's one hell of a historian too!

We also get PBS in hi def...

16. I'll tune in to the best HD feed..
But not CNN's HD feed, because they load the sides of the screen up with crap.

It's unfortunate that MSNBC and CSPAN aren't broadcast in HD yet. Anyone know if/when they plan to upgrade their equipment?

20. I'll be watching on the local PBS.
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 01:00 PM by SurferBoy
For several reasons:

1.) If I recall correctly, only C-SPAN and PBS had the split-screen in the 2004 debates, showing both candidates at the same time. That's what I like.

2.) It's going to be moderated by PBS' Jim Lehrer, giving PBS a little edge.

3.) I get the local PBS in Hi-Def, so another major point for PBS, since I'll be recording it to my DVD recorder.

Once done, I'll have a second TV tuned to MSNBC to listen to their reviews, while still recording the PBS reaction.

:D

21. CSpan
because it will be uninterrupted. I don't trust the cable "news" or the network "news" not to break in with immediate "analysis." After all, we must be told what we heard because we are too stupid to figure it out for ourselves.

I'll probably turn to MSNBC afterward.
