Obama Campaign: "McCain's debating skills are without parallel"
http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/politicalinsider/2008/09/campaigns-try-to-set-expectati.html

Today, the Obama campaign takes the art form of the expectations game to a new level with a memo saying that McCain's "debating skills are unparalleled" and that the topic of foreign policy gives him "home field advantage."

Vanderbilt University Professor John Geer: McCain Has An Edge In The Foreign Policy Debate. Geer: "McCain has an edge in this debate, since the topic is foreign policy. Obama needs to show his own understanding of the international affairs."

Georgia State University Professor Mary Stuckey: Foreign Policy Would Seem To Favor McCain Rather Than Obama. Stuckey: "Foreign policy would seem to favor McCain rather than Obama, and I would expect McCain to rely heavily on his personal experience and biography as evidence of his foreign policy expertise."

Heilemann: The Debate On Foreign Policy Is "A Lucky Break For McCain" And A "Chance To Move The Debate To Ground That Favors Him."

nice try Obama campaign nice try

4. This is the Lou Holtz gambit
"Well, golly, East Jesus A&M is a really good program. Tough defense, great running game. We're gonna have to play our best game just to keep up with them."

Then Notre Dame would win by 6 touchdowns.

7. What's really sad is that it's already been stated in the media by officials running the debate
It wwill have questions on Foreign Policy, but they imagine the focus will be on Economic Policy. Adios McCain.
