CNN really trying to lower expectations for McCain. Claimed they did a Poll where
when asked who Americans thought would do better in the debate. They picked Obama by 25 points.

2. Whether they're TRYING to do it or not... I really don't think that "poll" is a stretch.
Obama is a MUCH better speaker, after all.

5. Arguing that McCain can barely speak and will be crushed has been pretty common here too
Has anyone here been doing anything but creating lowered expectations for mccain?
