Tonight the courage of Senator Obama, and games playing of Senator McCain
will be on display as the back story of this debate.

This is the first debate, the one that is traditionally the highest number of viewers.. The theme of this debate, foreign policy, is supposedly McCains strong point in the polls. Knowing this, Senator Obama has the courage to take this on in the first debate. Something Senator McCain would never have done with the economy which is Obamas strongest point in the polls.

But karma, being karma, McCain with his playing games such as suspending his campaign, stirring the pot etc, will bring the economy into the debate.

But also having this debate at the U of Mississippi. As I was watching the news tonight, they referenced how in the 60's Senator Obama could not have attended this school. The 60's are just yesterday to me. The Klan threatens to be there. I chill at that state flag.

But Senator Obama being a man of courage, another generation, and seeing the best even in the least, is there tonight, with Senator McCain.

I am sure there will be people in later, who may tell us how much better someone else would have done with the debate, or how Senator Obamas speech pattern of saying uhhhh drove them crazy, or how he did not hit those snappy little comebacks with no substance will cost him the election.

The one thing that I know for sure, is Senator Obama is the man for the season, and a man of courage, in ways we do not even calculate.
