Best Biden Line/s Of The Debate
Haven't seen a post on this yet, but I'll be happy to defer to any previously posted threads if they exist.

I thought Biden did extremely well despite the restraints placed on him by the format. He definitely dropped some zingers. My two favorites:

"With all due respect, I do not hear a plan" when responding to Palin's comments about Iraq.

"The past is prologue" invoking Shakespeare as a clever retort to Palin's assertion that Biden and Obama were to busy pointing fingers backward to be agents of change.

I thought most real moment was easily hands down biden with his reflection on his son's injury in his wife's tragic car accident.

So what were some of your favorite zingers, quotes or moments?

5. Calling out the whole maverick bullshit.
I'm glad he did it at the end of the debate, too, cuz on the CNN meter, every time she mentioned John McCain the maverick, she flat-lined.

16. My wife and I discussed this when it happened
both of us wondered whether the Republican machine would try to use the moment against him. After some discussion we both agreed that it would be a serious miscalculation for them to even try it. It was definitely, for us, one of the highlights of the debate since it showed how real he is, and connected to his emotions. I think it will help some people connect with him on a very real level if they hadn't already.

Kind of an unspoken but mutually understood sacred moment. You hear so much about the other three's 'personal narratives.' I'm sure it came as a shock to many that Joe's got his own, perhaps more profound than any of them.

I think he did an amazing job of putting in a few hard jabs without coming off as aggressive. She was simply out of her league.
