Edited on Fri Oct-03-08 07:03 AM by underpants
Alaska is an hour behind Pacific Time or 4 hours behind Eastern time

The debate came on at 5PM in Alaska

Shouldn't they be outside playing? or at the hockey rink? Doing homework?

WHO WAS KEEPING AN EYE ON PUTIN'S HEAD???

1. I'm not going to answer your question, Underpants...
because...well, I don't have one. But I've practiced one for weeks now that might fit. Here goes:

Think of all the bad actresses you know, soap operas, B movies, Lifetime movies, Tori Spelling....EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM COULD HAVE DONE WHAT SARAH PALIN DID LAST NIGHT. They could have spent weeks memorizing answers written by other people. When asked a question that they didn't have an answer for, they simply fill in with a canned answer or lines from speeches.

Paris Hilton has been in movies...she could have done that debate last night if she was memorizing lines and had time to rehearse. Nobody can deny that.

2. In all fairness, they SHOULD be encouraged to watch the debate
It only comes along once every four years, and they can play outside the other 1459 days.

I like the "who was watching Putin's head" comment though. HAHAHAHA

15. There is no way my 3rd grade son ( or his 5th grade brother) would have watched the debate. They can
sit through KO pretty well, but other than that there's not a lot of interest in sitting through politi-speak because it all sounds boring and the same to them at that age.
