It's looking good. I'm feeling hopeful. And all I can think is:
the guy really wants this job right now? Really?

Shit, this is going to be hard. Really, really hard. I do believe he's up to it. But man, what a mess he's going to inherit.

I think the American public will be due a short celebration, and then we're all going to need to be called to work if we have any chance of turning this Titanic around.

4. Yeah, I know.
And I do think he's almost uniquely positioned to get the job done. I think that the sacrifice that will be required of him is usually overlooked in the horserace aspect of this all, though.

And, needless to say, I KNOW that McCain and Palin are in no way positioned to do a thing for any of the problems we're facing. Not a thing.
