I believe that it is a job best left to the media and other adjuncts, and not to campaign principals.

Reason: Too many voting Americans are as dumb or even dumber than Sarah Palin.

Biden struck exactly the right chord in the debate by letting Sarah Palin hang herself and not intervening in any way. The sub-90 IQ folk are mostly voting McCain anyway. The intelligent and undecided, independent-minded voters were probably very turned off by her idiocy.
