Did anyone else notice...
That Bush's appearance and mannerisms were very odd tonight during his speech? He was unusually smiley but his energy level seemed to be up and down like a roller-coaster throughout the speech.

I couldn't help thinking that maybe he'd popped a few pills before going on stage, or maybe even took a couple shots.

1. he did seem weird
he had a range of facial expressions from that "deer in the headlights" look that we all saw on him while he was reading, "my pet goat"
also his eyes were darting about and I think that the protesters were making him nervous.

2. King George did not get to the fire station yesterday
because of demonstrators... this is the first time since oh, Honolulu, that he has seen demonstrators.

4. This is a man that's probably
terrified of assasination from one of his wacko followers. He always looks to me like he's expecting a violent overthrow and I think when he sees protesters or a dust up around him he expects the bullets to start flying.

He had some odd mannerisms I agree. There was a moment when he stood there in a pause with his mouth open and my partner and me busted out laughing at the same time. His energy was low I thought

noticed that Cheney had unusually red cheeks. I was watching Kerry on Cspan and left after it went off. But my husband said he thinks because of the recent slurs towards Kerry's health and the youthful look of Edwards... They were trying to look fresh and healthier for their voters, instead of their usual 'out of touch' look.
