Here is what frustrates me.....
I just watched the last half of Bush's speech - it was TERRIBLE. It's structure was that of a twelve year old. His delivery is terrible. He talks like he is talking down to a child. His sentences were short and choppy (which probably is more of an indictment of the American people and their intellect - think of it).

But what really frustrates me is listening to all of these talking heads fawn over pieces of crap like this. It was garbage and they are too afraid to say so. Here we have a group of people who are supposed to be experts in language and they eat this junk up.

Bah....I'll be so glad to have a president that can speak in full and intelligent sentences again....

1. You just have to get used to the fact that the media
is owned by the repukes.

Don't expect to get your news from them. That is what the Internet is for.

2. people here at DU also loved it
but anyone with a basic knowledge of the facts knows his speech was plenty full of lies, distortions, half-truths. even anyone without the facts but with a working memory should asking where's osama? where's the WMDs? anyone without either of those but with basic critical thinking skills would be asking- you've had 4 years, why didn't you already do all this stuff you're proposing?

i can't see how this speech was anything but total garbage.

4. I don't think anybody who wasn't trolling loved W's Speech
I think the best thing you can say about it was that it wasn't a disaster; no suddenly speaking in tongues or anything..
