As did Hitler - was my spouse's comment,
when George Stephanopoulos commented on Good Morning American the attention to every detail of the RNC as a "winner" - remembering Leni Riefenstahl's propaganda

1. I do keep on being reminded
of the Nazi regime more and more. The current administration does not care who or what they destroy so long as they stay in power and protect their own.

7. The night they were chanting "flip FLOP"
it DID sound like "Sieg Heil!" I didn't realize until I got on the internet what they were really chanting.

8. There ARE two Americas
Look at the report about how sales of mid price and discount retailers came weaker, while upper scale flourished.

5. If that was "perfect" no wonder the country's in such trouble
Folks, a convention that has to disavow its own keynote speaker and hide him from the press and public is not perfect.

A convention where the party bosses hand out stickers mocking wounded veterans and then cry that they never meant to do any such thing and are not responsible is not perfect.

A convention where the vice president's daughter has to be hidden from the delegates is not perfect.

A convention where one of the platform speakers mocks the unemployed and gushes over a disgraced ex-president famed for paranoia and electoral dirty tricks is not perfect.

A convention where the President's daughters speak gibberish while visibly drunk is not perfect.

A convention that showcases one of the party's most vocal critics to his advantage on its very first night is not perfect.

Who DO they think they're kidding with this crap?

9. Perfect in some regards
The perfect use of channeled propaganda from a by gone dark period in history.

And the channeled self-indulgence of power and manipulating that were seen as Rome fell.

10. Remember the end of Animal House?
Repubican spin is starting to remind me of Kevin Bacon in the midst of the melee, hysterically chanting "Don't panic! All is well!"
