U.S. Supreme Court will stop Troopergate

Tonight or early tomorrow, a Supreme Court justice will revisit 2000 by enjoining Alaska lawmakers from releasing their report on Troopergate. The excuse will essentially be that it isn't a nice thing to do to Sarah Palin. The justice will cite the 37th Amendment, which precludes the release of sworn testimony by the spouse of a Republican national candidate within 30 days of an election.

Does anyone remember Antonin Scalia & Co. stopping the Florida recount? I do.

<http://archives.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/stories/12/09/... >

... Justice Antonin Scalia, among the most conservative members of the court, wrote that "a majority of the court ... believes that the petitioner has a substantial probability of success" in his attempt to have the Florida court's decision overturned.

8. This is not a federal issue
There is no standing for any appeal to a federal court.

9. Great. That's what I thought.
The SCOTUS has no business intervening here.
