I need some help to... well, help. Where can I SPECIFICALLY volunteer
to offer rides to the polls for people on election day? Sorry if this is a very well known or an easily figured out issue, but I've actually looked around and can't seem to find an answer. Thank you in advance.

1. Call your local campaign office.
Depends on where you live, so I can't be more specific.

3. I'm in Mesa, outside of Phoenix Arizona.
Obviously, though, I'd like to help in more democratic areas (if I volunteered around here I'd mostly be helping older white folks vote for McAssface). I will give them a call, though. Thank you. :)

2. I'm volunteering for Obama through MoveOn.

MoveOn sends me email alerts and calls me. The emails link to the Obama website to places in my immediate area where I can volunteer. Go there and sign up. Or go directly to the Obama website, plug in your zipcode and see where they could use you. I'm volunteering in Everett this Saturday and in Seattle this Sunday and will be volunteering as much as possible until the election. Also, you might want to consider taking November 4th off. That is another thing I signed up for on the Obama website via MoveOn. I'm going to help get people to the polls. The Obama website, along with MoveOn is really a great resource, and the people at MoveOn will definitely call you to volunteer. I'm pretty shy, so this isn't easy, but I've done it before for Dean and Kerry, with canvassing and phone banking, and it's a lot of fun.

4. You could also contact someone
who is running for something like your state legislature. They can use volunteers also.

5. You can
look up an Obama office near you here, and contact them, and ask them:

Use the "State" tab, and select your state.
