Bush More Attractive Than Kerry: Poll

Last Update: 9/2/2004 9:10:38 AM

United Press International

If rules of attraction decided the presidential election, President George W. Bush would win in a landslide, a new poll says.

Some 67 percent, or more than two-thirds of American respondents believe Bush is more attractive than his Democratic challenger, Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, says the poll by the independent global market research company GMI.

However, Kerry can still hope his wife's beauty can carry him into the White House. The same poll said respondents found Teresa Heinz Kerry more attractive than First Lady Laura Bush by a margin of 56 percent to 44 percent.

Also, the poll found a majority of undecided voters base their eventual choice more on the candidates' political platforms than on their personal values or belief systems.

12. Please stop insulting deer in headlights!
W. is a weasel, caught stealing songbird eggs. There's no way that smirking, cringing bastard resembles a deer, in any way, shape or form. EEEEEEuyew! (Actually, I realize I've just insulted weasels as well. Sorry. There is in reality no animal that works as a W. metaphor.)

8. This reminds me of an O. Henry story
in which a character dies and at the funeral there's nothing but silence...until somebody gets up, says "When he was six he was one of the best spellers in school" and sits down again.

The war president outlines his vision on the last night of his party's convention, and the most positive thing the Reverend Moon's news service can find is "he's so cute."
